I'll be honest, I rarely take the time to thank Florence Nightingale for working out a way to convey just how bad things were in Crimean hospitals. I like to think that, when I wear this shirt, I'm tipping my hat (trilby, of course) to both her and William Playfair for the invention and propagation of the under-appreciated pie-chart.
