Pindus National Park Greece Travel Postcard

Pindus National Park, also known as Valia Kalda, is located in the northern Pindus mountain range of northern Greece, near the border with Albania. It is one of the most remote and pristine areas of Greece, often called the “Greek Yellowstone” because of its dense forests, rugged mountains, and rich biodiversity. The park covers around 7,000 hectares and is famous for its ancient conifer and beech forests, with trees that have stood for hundreds of years.
