The country roads of Appalachia run slowly from the past to the future through the present. Take time to discover the treasures of a vanishing way of life. Share a moment of beauty with someone you know with this Zazzle product. All images are from my on going "Country Roads" series of original paintings in watercolor or relief block prints. This watercolor painting is about "The Scenic" which is W.VA. state route 55, the Highland Scenic Highway. I love this scenic road and the nearby natural attractions and trout streams. I constantly find inspiration in the area and have done many paintings inspired by my fishing, touring, sketching and photography trips here.
