The paper cutting pattern, shaped like a lantern, consists of two tigers and a character Fu, meaning "fortune" or "good luck". On the bottom, the red roof of a traditional Chinese house is covered with white snow. As a Chinese saying goes: A timely heavy snow promises a good harvest. Other than bright and loud red which are usually used in Chinese New year decoration, the main hue of this design is rather soft pink. The whole design is full of lovely and joyful holiday atmosphere.
