A few weeks ago I listened to "Treasure Island" on an audiobook. I miss it now that I have finished it. I loved the story -- the conniving pirates, the Black Spot, the treasure map, the treasure. Here are my hand illustrations of some of the images from the book, including the parrot squawking "Pieces of Eight," the Jolly Roger, a treasure chest, and the treasure map. Fun for a pirate-themed party, maybe even a book club!
