This photo was taken on a quiet afternoon in Plaza Dorrego in San Telmo in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Most of the time the plaza is busy with people, music, dancers, vendors, and people sitting and eating, drinking and talking. This was one of those rare quiet times when the plaza seemed to belong to those of us who were lucky enough to be there that afternoon. Many of the cafe tables sat empty and the dance area was empty, waiting for the next tango dancers to perform.
