This button was designed to promote understanding of PMDD. It has a red warning triangle with an exclamation mark and PMDD in black inside. Below the triangle are the words, in script: I need love and understanding. It's for you to wear on those bad days. The wording in script can be changed or deleted. This badge has been designed to raise awareness of PMDD - Premenstrual dysphoric disorder - which affects 3-8% of all menstruating women. It is similar to PMS (Premenstrual Syndrome) but is much, much more serious, causing severe irritability, depression, or anxiety. PMDD is thought to be under-diagnosed, so it is important to make the symptoms more widely known, and be supportive to those who are suffering.
