Please enjoy this image I took a few years back when this slice of heaven stole my heart. Sadly, this beautiful landmark was destroyed by a devastating fire in September of this year (2023). Rest assured, the community is working to rebuild this iconic building. from Linda Bean: "Since the total loss of the Port Clyde General Store and Dip Net restaurant, it has become ever more clear how emotionally connected our customers and visitors are, from near and far, and how loved and appreciated these businesses and buildings have been for many decades of time.
