Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I (1903-1907) by Gustav Klimt is a vintage Victorian Era Symbolism fine art portrait painting. Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I is also known as The Lady in Gold or the Woman in Gold. The portrait shows Adele Bloch-Bauer sitting on a golden chair in front of a golden starry background. She is wearing a jewelled choker and a tight golden dress in a triangular shape, made up of rectilinear forms. In some places the dress merges into the background so much so that she in the middle of a geometric scheme. About the artist: Gustav Klimt (1862-1918) was an Austrian Symbolist painter and one of the most prominent members of the Vienna Art Nouveau movement.

The tote bag is smashing! It feels very sturdy and well made. A great size, can fit all your bits and pieces and the handles are strong, but long enough to be able to sling over your shoulder. Perfect for out and about! Absolutely love it! Have to say, the print is excellent! I should know, I painted the original painting. I ordered the bag to see how well my painting translated into a bag and I am wowed! Some pics of my original painting and the bag next to it, fabulous print job!
