This is an reproduction of "The Woodlands" by Jesse M. King, circa 1913-1914. It was one an illustration she made for her book "Seven Happy Days: A Series of Drawings by Jessie M.King with Quotations from John Davidson and Others."
Jessie Marion King (1875 – 1949) was a Scottish painter and illustrator of children's books. She was both a student and later a teacher at the Glasgow School of Arts, and was part of both the Art Nouveau and Art Deco movements. Along with illustration and book design, she also designed jewellery, fabric, ceramics, textile and murals.
