Eisenhower's portrait comes into focus in this pixelated mural on a vintage brick building in Abilene, Kansas. The building is on the Eisenhower Memorial Highway. The Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum and Boyhood home is in Abilene. Eisenhower was the 34th president of the United States (1954-1961). Eisenhower lived in Abilene from 1898 until he was appointed to West Point in 1911. His boyhood home, which is open for tours, is on the grounds of the museum.
