Puerto Rican Flag (Puerto Rico) Satin Ribbon

This design features the flag of Puerto Rico, which represents and symbolises the Caribbean island and its people. The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico ("Estado Libre Asociado de Puerto Rico") is an unincorporated territory of the United States of America. Originally populated by the indigenous Taíno people, Puerto Rico was colonised by Spain following the arrival of Christopher Columbus in 1493. Puerto Ricans have been citizens of the United States since 1917, despite the fact that the island is not a state. Puerto Rico is sometimes known as the Island of Enchantment ("Isla del Encanto").
