Pulaski’s Legion was part of the Continental Army during the American Revolution. They formed in 1778 at Baltimore, Maryland. They fought in Charleston and Savannah. Their commander was Kazimierz Pulaski, a member of the Polish nobility who came to America as a soldier of fortune. He is considered to be the father of American cavalry.
