This was one of the many pieces I put together with only the vaguest idea where I was heading. I just wanted to use one of my favourite colours, purple, with other bright colours to make the piece pop. When I applied the mirror technique, I saw that I had inadvertently created what I see as a dragon or some other kind of Chinese monster.
