    An elegant single royal purple Iris blossom against shades of pale gray and fresh green is portrayed on this beautiful photographic botanical floral art canvas print. Irises commonly represent wisdom, faith, hope, courage and valor. The birth flower of February is the Iris suggesting loyalty and faithfulness. The Iris is also the 25th wedding anniversary flower for much the same meaning. The Iris was named for the Greek Goddess of Greek mythology who carried messages from heaven to earth on the arc of the rainbow. The Iris is one of the State flowers of Tennessee, purple colour in particular, and also inspired the fleur-de-lis design. The purple color, being the blending of cool blue and warm red, lends to the purple Iris representation of peace and harmony. This is original botanical flower photography by JLW_PHOTOGRAPHY.
