Purple Peacock Exotic Turquoise Scroll Chinoiserie Shower Curtain

This exotic peacock design is adapted from a Turkish plate painted ca. 1550. I love the swirls and colours of the bird and stylised greenery, and it looks really lively on a purple background. I painted my adaptation on underglazed ceramic tile, bringing a rich depth to the design and colours. The design's Asian feeling evokes chinoiserie patterns.
