Purple Thistle Wildflower Botanical Art is a design with a floral theme of a thistle native to the Mediterranean. A semi-desert flora, leaves are spirally arranged, deeply lobed, and have sharp spines. The flowers are purple, produced in a dense flowerhead. In the Greek island of Crete, notobasis syriaca is called agavanos (αγκάβανος), its tender shoots are peeled and eaten raw by the local people. Really nice image fixed to the tiles in my shower as a background to a soap dish. This was to hide the marks left by a broken soap dish. Just used tile adhesive and white grout. I think it looks good, almost like the drips are falling from the soap dish. No probs. Nice image.
