Pyrite on Quartz, Daye Mine, Hubei Prov., China, 5" tall. SOLD I consider this one of the great Pyrites I have ever owned. It has the most wonderful large isolated cube of Pyrite sitting high up on a matrix of milky Quartz crystals. Aesthetically it is like no other I have ever seen. Sometimes Pyrite can achieve such perfection as to amaze the advanced collector as much as it amazes the general public. I think this Pyrite qualifies. It never fails that when Pyrite looks like this you will be asked by a non-mineral collector "how did you make that". The cubic crystals of Pyrite on this specimen are so sharp, so geometric as to appear unnatural. The irony of this is that in their purest natural form all crystals have perfect geometry. This piece illustrates the epitome of crystallography and in a specimen that is also wonderfully harmonious, beautifully balanced and artistic. The Daye mine has occasionally produced Pyrites that are rivaling the greatest of all known localities for this species.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
