Queen of the Flowers from Thumbelina Print
Harry Clarke was an Irish artist who illustrated stories for Hans Christian Andersen Tales. He was an excellent craftsman in stain-glass design and put all his energy into it. Many of the illustrators of that period were greatly influenced in their drawings by the commercial arts of that era. We are reminded of the illustrator's of that period like Kay Neilsen and Aubrey Beardsley when we see Harry Clarke's drawings. Clarke's own story illustrations had a stained-glass design appeal to them being chraacterised as having a flat and large colourful style.
This illustration is from Hans Christian Andersen's "Thumbelina" in 1916. "She should be Queen of all the flowers."

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
