It is an elegant demonstration of how Christmas traditions have continued through the decades and centuries. The Christmas tree comes from German culture, where people would bring evergreens into their homes to decorate them during the winter period as a reminder of spring. The tradition really took off in Europe and America when Prince Albert introduced the tree to his new wife, Queen Victoria. This famous sketch of the royal couple together was produced in 1848.

It’s such a shame ! I ordered this in January with intentions of it arriving for Valentine’s Day. I gave more than enough time for delivery. I ordered it the second to last week if not the last week of january. It arrived February 27th! Sorry after Valentine’s Day and a month later ! It’s such a shame that the delivery took ages because the quality is amazing ! I would have been happy to have paid an extra £10 for faster delivery … it comes from Ireland but I shipped it to England… should not have taken that long! I could have flown over there myself and flown back faster. Despite this I would recommend the product. I would just order 1.5 months prior to when you need it ! The glass is a good thickness and the printing is great quality ! Definitely a hand wash product tho !
