Snowshoe Hare Head Shot Notebook. A nice close up photogragraph of a shoeshoe hare taken in the early sprong. These hares change the colour of their fur from white in the winter to browns in the summer. The hare in this photograph is just starting to go from white to it's summer coat of browns, the only part of them that does not change colour is the black tips on the ends of it's ears.
