Reaper-SoulCollector-Card Card
Here stands The Grim Reaper "The Soul Collector". Gazing at his latest soul that he aquired. Wikipedia.com Definition of the Grim Reaper: The personification of death as a living, sentient entity is a concept that has existed in many societies since the beginning of recorded history. In Western cultures, death is usually given the name "The Grim Reaper" and shown as a skeletal figure carrying a large scythe, and wearing a midnight black gown, robe or cloak with a hood, or sometimes, a white burial shroud. Usually when portrayed in the black-hooded gown, only his eyes can be seen. The Grim Reaper originated in Scotland. Image Info: This image was created over a few month period, a little here, a little there. Basically your typical Grim Reaper robe with the exception of the 14 Chinesse Characters gold embossed on the trim of the robe. The translations to the Characters are as followed; Dragon, Eternity, Ghost, Good Health, Longevity, Love, Life, Peace, Powerful, Pure, Spirit, Tiger, Vigourous, and Wisdom. Im hoping I got the correct translations to the characters, since Im not Chinesse. I used Zbrush 3.1 for the modelling, posing, and rendering of the composite images. I then moved to Photoshop where I combined the composited images, added smoke, Logo, and background. I used Apopysis fractal generator to create the soul and brought it into Photoshop to edit it.
