The original work titled "Red Squirrel with Grey Squirrel Fur Scarf (Ume)" was a part of the popular animal portrait series originating from my National Trust-commissioned project, "A Letter to the Earth from Beatrix", to celebrate Beatrix Potter's enduring legacy. "Ume" is a Japanese colour indicating plum flower.
