Vintage Red Willow Invitation

In 1898 an English gentleman sent Christmas and New Year's greeting to family, friends and acquaintances with a small folded card. The front was graced with a classic blue willow image and his gold engraved monogram. The inside conveyed his friendly message and the date. For our purposes, the monogram has been removed and we have a charming oriental drawing in classic red. It's a wonderful design for home decor, apparel, correspondence and personal accessories.

I was struggling to match my witness card with the theme of our wedding. There wasn’t much choice for these cards, as I take they are not popular maybe?. But this didn’t not take away the quality of the card we chose in the end. The print was perfect and looks great. Just a shame there isn’t more too chose from.
