Remastered Audubon American White Pelican Tote Bag
This is a remastered reproduction version of the American White Pelican, 1836 Plate CCCXI, based on the series “Birds of America” by John James Audubon (1785 - 1851). Robert Havell (1793 - 1878) engraved, printed, and coloured the original version. Creating the original vintage prints employed hand-coloured engraving techniques and the aquatint process on Whatman wove paper. The original Birds of America book is very expensive because of the limited number of original books published and their popularity. The bookplates are incredible and awe-inspiring classics. This version has been digitally remastered and enhanced. Vibrant colours were introduced to this enhanced version.
