Renaissance Angel Square Magnet Pinturicchio

Detail of the Archangel Gabriel from Pinturicchio's fresco of the Annunciation at Santa Maria Maggiore in his native Umbrian town of Spello. The rich Renaissance greens, reds and golds of Gabriel's robes are in vivid contrast to te more muted tones tone of the elaborate architectural details in the background. The traditional lilies held in Gabriel's hand are particularly graceful and finely done. Perfect at Christmas time, beautiful and tasteful year round. These make wonderful stocking stuffers and thoughtful additions to gift baskets and other gift packages for the kitchen. Square only, but this same design is also available in the round shape.
