Repro Antique Wm De Morgan Golden Eagle Tile

The original of this tile, by William De Morgan, is one of two we have from a four tile set that could be repeated as a border or frieze. The other tile, a heron, is also listed. The other two tiles were mirror images of these and the four were rotated to match by alternating upside down tiles with rightside up tiles. These tiles are amazing even used individually or just as a pair. See our media section for more pictures.

Really nice image fixed to the tiles in my shower as a background to a soap dish. This was to hide the marks left by a broken soap dish. Just used tile adhesive and white grout. I think it looks good, almost like the drips are falling from the soap dish. No probs. Nice image.
