Repro Richards Victorian Roses Wreath Majolica Tile

Reproduced from a circa 1900 English moulded tile by Richards, this vibrant tile is a delight! Rose, Purple, green, ivory, and white against a peacock blue background. Note that this tile is "faux relief". IT is actually a flat smooth tile that is done in the trompe l'oeil (fool the eye) style and is not actually dimensional like the original. It only looks that way.

Really nice image fixed to the tiles in my shower as a background to a soap dish. This was to hide the marks left by a broken soap dish. Just used tile adhesive and white grout. I think it looks good, almost like the drips are falling from the soap dish. No probs. Nice image.
