Republican vs Democrat, Happiness Bumper Sticker

Republicans want to reduce social and welfare programs so that there is less government and less taxes. Less taxes on a 60k salary would be from 20k taxes to 18k let's say, which is $2000 more for a family. That $2000 could easily go to healthcare or whatever. And if everyone actually paid for their healthcare, and the medical field was an open market, competition & quality would go up. But today, the healthcare industry is riddled with laws forcing hospitals to serve those who do not even pay. Thusly, those that do pay, are billed higher rates. Social welfare leads to masses of complacent, lazy, angry, self entitled crime ridden masses. That's what Republicans believe. Democrates believe everyone should get entitlements at the expense of the rich. "Tax the rich!" is their motto. But all that means is the poor get govt issued stamps. And the poor increase, the rich hide their money, and the healthcare system goes bankrupt. Pusuit of Happiness is in our Declaration of Independence. And it is Independence, and Pursuit, that do not guarantee you happiness, but the liberty & freedom to try for it. Democrats want to control & dispense Happiness as they see fit, or as the bureaucratic system will see fit, like the DMV or the IRS or the Social Security System.
