RETRO JAPAN 1920s Selections from “For remembrance : sixty views of sights and scenes in unique Japan” This is a photograph of a Japanese landscape that appears to have been published in the mid-1920s. They appear to have been printed as souvenirs for foreigners, after colouring the original photographs. We have carefully selected 12 of these photographs to create this calendar. Please note that the captions are from the time of publication, and that the situation 100 years ago is different from that of today. Colour correction processing was performed using public domain data from the Digital Collections of the National Diet Library.

Before purchasing, I contacted Naomi about the recommended size and layout. She recommended the single page so that the front cover will look right. She also recommended either the small or medium size. I purchased the medium size calendar, single page layout per month, and I love it! The photos are beautiful! I understand that the smaller size is 11" x 7" and I wanted something larger than that. The medium size measures 16.5" x 10.75". The images look great!
