The mug itself is of sturdy material and should last me a lifetime. The only cons about it are that it does not keep liquid hot for more than 3 hours and is quite expensive...but other than that I just love it. I am very happy that I bought it. thanks. As I said above the printing was excellent: clear and sharp.
