Helps you decide which colours using the RGB Hex Codes ... gives people a better understanding of which way to go. RGB Hex Codes use 3 pairs of 16 symbols value 0 to 15. A pair for each 'channel' Red Green Blue. 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 A B C D E F. The letters stand for the two digit numbers 10 11 12 13 14 15. F = 15. The system is base 16 so the left symbol value is x 16 then you add the second symbol value. So, FF 00 00 = full red,, zero green, zero blue. By numbers it becomes 255, 0, 0. 255 is full value on light. 0 is off. FF means 15 x 16 + 15 = 240 + 15 = 255 = full on light. 255 is not equally divisible by 2 so the half number value used for 1/2 255 is either 127 or 128. Usually 128. The base 16 pair Hex Code used becomes 80 = 8 x 16 + 0 = 128. 1/4 full value becomes base 16 Hex Code pair 40 = 4 x 16 + 0 = 64. So, on this chart, the 24 pure RGB hues on left side are in increments of 1/4 full values for each of the 3 channels RGB ... increments of base 16 pair 40 = 4 x 16 + 0. Plus, I conveniently include certain other colour suggested Hex Codes for white, black, grey / grey, maroon. burnt orange, yellow gold, my favourite gold (the only code given not in the 4 x 16 + 0 increments), grass green, navy blue, purple.
