Painted on location at the Mendocino Botanical Gardens in May, this image won a prize in the juried Garden Show at the Mendocino Art Centre in June, 2012. The artist had set up her easel in the path and had to move a few times to allow visitors to pass, but was happy to do so, and completed the original 20x16" painting on location.
