Riders on the Beach, Gauguin Bath Towel
Eugène Henri Paul Gauguin (7 June 1848 – 8 May 1903) was a French Post-Impressionist artist. Unappreciated until after his death, Gauguin is now recognised for his experimental use of colour and Synthetist style that were distinct from Impressionism. Towards the end of his life, he spent ten years in French Polynesia. The paintings from this time depict people or landscapes from that region.
His work was influential to the French avant-garde and many modern artists, such as Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse. Gauguin's art became popular after his death, partially from the efforts of art dealer Ambroise Vollard, who organised exhibitions of his work late in his career and assisted in organising two important posthumous exhibitions in Paris. Excellent. Great reproduction of the image provided. Great quality material used for both items. The printing was outstanding on both items from a small image. Even thought the two items were different in size there was no distortion or deterioration in the finished product. There was a warning prior to placing the order that the image might not reproduce well to the size requested but I took a chance and was not disappointed.

When this towel set arrived I was amazed how lovely it was. Colours so vibrant and design fabulous with hearts added. i have never seen one like this for sale in any of the shops ever!! it is really beautiful and would highly recommend this.
