This classic mug design features our interpretation of Alexander Nasmyth's famous portrait of Scotland's national bard, Robert Burns, beside the Auld Brig o' Doon at Alloway in Ayrshire, near to where Burns grew up. The centre of the mug features the Scottish saltire, or St Andrew's flag, the national flag of Scotland, with a thistle pattern. Burns is of course famous for "Auld Lang Syne," the song sung the world over every New Year's Eve. The mug would make the perfect gift for fans of the bard and his poetry, Scots ex-pats, and friends and family with Scottish roots.
