Roguish black cat and rabbit CC1053 Halloween Coffee Mug
Halloween mug inspired by the March 1896 cover picture of the American literary magazine The black cat.
The picture shows a black cat and a rabbit, both playing banjos. The two animal troubadours look happy, but also a bit roguish, you can't tell what they are up to. They seem to be in a great mood for Halloween.
Great for Halloween parties, when you want to bring a gift to the host or hostess. While holding the mug, a right-handed receiver can read the greeting 'Happy Halloween' followed by his or her own name (default Samantha). The other side of the mug shows the name of the giver (default Charlie), and in the middle the receiver can read a popular Halloween quote: 'Double, double toil and trouble, fire burn, and cauldron bubble'. The words originate from Shakespeare's play Macbeth (Act IV, Scene I), the three witches are casting a spell.
