    Rollerway Skating Rink - 8490 W. North Avenue & River Road, Melrose Park, Illinois. Today it would be at North Avenue and 1st Avenue in Melrose Park. The rink was opened in 1940, but in 1946 the rink was lost in a fire that left only the organ and the office safe standing. It was rebuilt and reopened in 1955. The rink was closed in March of 1998.
