It is a flat reproduction of a beautiful three-layered sardonyx cameo from ancient Roman Empire (now in the public domain), representing emperor Octavian Augustus, seen from profile, wearing a laurel wreath, with a scepter representing an eagle in his hand. It was reused in the Middle Age, put in the center of the Cross of Lothar, in the 10th century. Recommended as a gift for a lover of ancient Rome or someone named Augustus or Octavian. The hours are indicated by golden roman numerals, inside a black circle with golden border around the cameo..

The wall clock it's very modern and look very good in my kitchen. The quality of the product is very good. The only problem I have is that I thought the wall clock was going to be a little bigger, since I order the large clock, for me this was just a regular size clock . I can imagine if I had order the small one. but besides I'm happy. The design of the product was great and the quality.
