Rorke's Drift Signature Serise Coffee Mug

Rorke's Drift Commemorative Coffee Mug Commemorating the epic defence of the mission station of Rorke's Drift, Natal Colony during the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879. On 22-23 January 1879 something less that 200 British regulars and local volunteers successfully defended the station against the determined assault by at least 4000 Zulu warriors. In the wake of the battle eleven of the defenders would be awarded the Victoria Cross. This special version bears the photographic likenesses of the two senior British officers present at the action: John Rouse Merriott Chard, Royal Engineers and Gonville Bromhead, 24th Foot. Also depicted are the facsimile signatures of both men.
