Rose Emma Hodges Quinn poster

Rose Emma Hodges Quinn poster

Rose Emma Hodges (Quinn) poster art & design by Daniel James Martinusen, grandson of Rose. Rose was a church pianist and mother of 13 children. She was born in Myrtle, Oregon in 1896. She married Delfay Verl Hodges in Idaho. They moved to Montana, then on to California, where they spent the rest of their lives. Rose lived to be 92 years of age. She was the grand-daughter of John Willard Quinn and great-grand-daughter of Michael Patrick Quinn, both of whom are characters in the vintage genealogy pioneer book "Though Long the Trail" by the late author Mabel Hobson Draper, which was published in 1946. The book is an 1860s account of the Quinn family's hardships and adventures moving west, as remembered by Mary Hobson (Quinn), Mabel's mother.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame. This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again. One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up. Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font. Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
