Rural America Red Barn Jigsaw Puzzle

This beautiful red barn is from an old farm in Georgia, in the Southern USA. Many barns in rural America are red because farmers used to add ferrous oxide (rust powder) to an old paint recipe of linseed oil, which gave barns a deep orange-red color. The ferrous oxide accentuated the redness to a burnt red tone. Nowadays, to follow the tradition, even new barns are painted red, though with a brighter color more akin to fire engine red. Customize to your liking.

Lighthouse Michigan puzzle is a print of the Big Sable Lighthouse in Luddington, Mi where my son and is wife got engaged years ago so I thought, what a wonderful anniversary gift. The puzzle was a little challenging but lots of fun to do. The puzzle pieces are outstanding and the colors are bright. I highly recommend . The print (16 x 20) is very clear and has depth, it makes you fel like you're there. I put it in an old barnwood frame which represents driftwood and It looks great. Highly recommend.
