Russian Cruiser Aurora Travel Mug

Russian Cruiser Aurora Travel Mug

A digital rendering of the Russian Cruiser Aurora moored in the Neva river at St. Petersburg. Cyrillic text reading "Kreiser AVRORA" (The Cruiser AURORA) also appears.Add your own additional text. The Aurora is an iconic symbol of the Russian October Revolution of 1917. At the time of the earlier February Revolution the Aurora was docked in the Neva river at Petrograd (St. Petersburg) for repairs. Some of the vessel's crew had participated in the revolution which resulted in the abdication of Tsar Nicholas II. A revolutionary committee was created on the ship and most of the crew joined Lenin's Bolsheviks, who were preparing for a Communist revolution. At 9.45 p.m on 25 October 1917 the Aurora fired a blank round from her forecastle gun to signal the start of the assault on the Winter Palace. The Aurora has served as a museum ship and tourist attraction for millions of visitors at her present location in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) for decades.

The final product far exceeded my expectations when it arrived. It feels solid, looks impressive, and I love the style. It has a very solid lid which is still easy to remove and re fit. Looks great in the Stainless Steel and it was delivered on time and very well packaged. I have only one little niggle, and that is the logo background colour of black doesn't quite match the black that they company uses so you can see the slight difference is tones. It would have been great if these matched and to be honest, I am not sure if that is something I would have to do my end before uploading or if this could be sorted at the printing stage.

It's the perfect size for a travel mug. A very good item and I know my son will love it. I'm delighted with how the photos and lettering came out on this item. I managed to get x4 photos on it rather than the usual one. I'm very pleased with this item.
