I all aspects it is stimulating and energizing. Purple has long been associated with Royalty and Luxury, but it also has a Supernatural side. Green is often tied to Nature, Fertility, and Harmony. Blue instills Calm, Serenity, and Reliability. Sometimes it can imbue Sadness and Melancholy. Yellow is Joyous, Happy, and can represent Divine Light or Wisdom.
