Saddle Maker Shop in A Danish Open Air Museum Poster

Saddle Maker Shop in A Danish Open Air Museum Poster

"Saddle Maker Shop in A Danish Open Air Museum" by Catherine Sherman A Sadelmager sign hangs over a narrow cobblestone street indicating a saddle making shop in The Old Town museum in Aarhus, Denmark (Danish: Den Gamle By). A sign showing a saddle is hanging nearby. Many people couldn't read, so picture signs were needed. Narrow cobblestone streets run between colourful traditional half-timbered houses. Wooden signs are hung across the alley, indicating the presence of craftsmen shops, contributing to the old-world charm of this European location showing an historic Danish market town. The Old Town is an open-air town museum, consisting of 75 historical buildings collected from 20 Danish townships. In 1914 the museum opened as the world's first open-air museum of its kind, concentrating on town culture rather than village culture. More than three million people visit each year. The museum buildings are organised into a small town of mostly half-timbered structures originally erected between 1550 and the late 19th century and later moved to Aarhus during the 20th century.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame. This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again. One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up. Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font. Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.

Absolutely love my poster. I have it hung in my reiki treatment room. Had so many compliments about it. The pastel colours are truly amazing
