Sagrada Família's ceiling and columns Tile
Part of the ceiling and some of the columns within Barcelona's amazing Sagrada Família cathedral. Construction of Sagrada Família was started in 1882 although the plan changed radically when Antoni Gaudi took over the role of Architect in 1883. The cathedral is now over half finished with construction expected to be complete by the centenary of Gaudi's death in 2026. The cathedral is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a Spanish Property of Cultural Interest. It's official name is Templo Expiatorio de la Sagrada Familia. If you ever get to Barcelona then you simply MUST visit this amazing building!

Really nice image fixed to the tiles in my shower as a background to a soap dish. This was to hide the marks left by a broken soap dish. Just used tile adhesive and white grout. I think it looks good, almost like the drips are falling from the soap dish. No probs. Nice image.
