Saint Urho's Day TShirt
St. Urho's Day is celebrated on March 16th, just one day before St. Patrick's Day. It is an observance that was started by the Finnish up in Minnesota years ago and its popularity has been growing widely across the US for years. It is said that St. Urho drove the grasshoppers out of Finland and thus saved their grapes (which they made into wine!). Some say it was greated to get a headstart on the Irish from drinking all the beer up! The story can be found on my website at http://www.brownielocks.com/urho.html The official colours are purple (to represent the grapes) and green (to represent the grasshoppers.) I bought this as a gift last Christmas and since then it has been washed many times and I haven't seen any stretching or tears. The size fits perfectly. The printing is excellent. I really like the design but I'm not sure the white base really took as you can see pink through her fur/bikini. So that was a little disappointing. That's more on the printing side though than the actual design, the design is really great, Cutey Bunny looks so beautiful! If you're thinking of getting this then I'd say just go for a white T-shirt and you should be fine.
