Saito Dosan Viper of Mino Calligraphy Kanji Art T-Shirt

斎藤道三: Saito Dosan, was a Japanese samurai during the Sengoku period. He is a full embodiment of Gekokujo, a Japanese term for the lower overthrowing the higher class, in Sengoku period. Originally a monk, he later became a seller of oil, then became a daimy of Mino province by overthrowing the original ruler Toki Yorinari. 美濃の蝮: Viper of Mino, it is the nickname given to Saito Dosan due to his cruelty and ruthless personality, history recorded that he once executed petty criminals with extreme penalty such as dismemberment or boiled to death. In the background is the kamon (family crest) of Saito, Ni-to nami (二頭波) or "Double head wave", at the bottom is caligraphy viper, and on top is the samurai signature of Saito Dosan.
