Salinas Grandes Postcard
Salinas Grandes is a vast white salt flat located high in the Puna region of Northwest Argentina. Spanning over 200 square kilometres, this blindingly white expanse creates incredible optical illusions and a sense of infinite horizon.
The salt crust is carved into rectangular turquoise pools where locals harvest salt. It is one of the most surreal landscapes in the country, where the bright white ground meets a perfectly deep blue sky, creating a minimalist and ethereal environment for photographers and travelers.
