His left hand holding The Crystal Orb representing The World ... He painted Christ as SAVIOR OF THE WORLD. ... as SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD. Leonardo painted Christ as if softly appearing through the atmosphere in a blue robe of Lapis Lazuli ... a rare blue stone as expensive as gold crushed by hand to make the paint Ultramarine. The leather straps across His chest have the intricate geometric pattern found in his preliminary sketches found now in the royal collection in England. This painting was owned by the French court and with the marriage of French Henriette to the English king the painting became owned by two kings of England.

originally designed this notebook a bit more blue, bigger and with a thick cover as my planner., My friend saw it and loved it and was asking if she could get one smaller, lighter in color and with a softcover, so I made this adaptation for her and she loves it !!! The colors came out so perfect, just as they looked in my computer!
