Sanada's Six Coins Coffee Mug
The Sanada Roku Mon Sen or Zenimon is referred to by various names. Some sources, such as "Heian Monkan," "Mon Den," and "Kamon Dai Zukan," call it "Sanada Zen," while others, including "Mon no Kokoro," "Mon no Izumi," and "Nihon no Monsho," refer to it as "Sanada Roku Mon Sen." "Jomon no Kenkyu" calls it "Shinano Sanada Roku Mon Ren Sen," and "Kamon no Jiten" simply "Roku Ren Sen." Munen Sen refers to coins with only a square hole, like this design, without any text. The Sanada clan, particularly those from the Matsushiro Domain in Shinano Province, are famous for using the Munen Sen. These mugs are simply the best. They printed to a very high quality. The size of mug is large and they hold a lot of drink in them. They're priced exceptionally well. I cannot praise these mugs more!
